The North Cotswold Foodbank started in 2011. Bishop's Cleeve outlet opened in October 2015 and joined four other outlets and a warehouse in the North Cotswold group.
The North Cotswold Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
The foodbank provides three days' emergency food for local people in crisis. Since April 2017, Bishop's Cleeve outlet has served more clients (adults and children) than any one of the other four outlets in the North Cotswold foodbank.
The Bishop's Cleeve Foodbank outlet is run from St Michael's Centre, Church Road, Bishop's Cleeve GL52 8BA and is open every Friday from 9.45am to 11.15am.
